Film Review by Richard Breyer

This short film is introduced by Robert Gonzalez who tells us how much he loves New York because it’s a fun, diverse place. He demonstrates this by taking us on a tour of some of his favorite eating spots and we meet street venders who from Greece, Mexico, China and other parts of the world.  We also meet a couple of his friends – a young woman from Colombia and a young man from the Dominican Republic. The young lady takes us to a corner grocery story in her neighborhood where she buys candy that reminds her of home. The young man shows us a couple of reasons why he likes to ride the subway –exotic bronze statues and musicians playing traditional Ecuadorian folk music. He also takes us home to meet his family and to be part of a family dinner where traditional Dominican foods are served.
