THE ART OF POINT OF CONTACT
In 2004, the Light Work Gallery at Syracuse University's
Menschel Center exhibited a selection of photographic
images from the Point of Contact Art Collection.
Most of the original pieces had never been seen before
outside the pages of Point of Contact.
That same group of works and
additional pieces
selected to be shown for the first time ever-
such as Nam June Paik's drawings
on the subject of Silence,
were exhibited at the Everson Museum of Art in the spring of 2005.
The show included more than 60 pieces from this rare collection of
original contemporary art by
some of the best renowned
exponents from around the world, created exclusively
for publication in Point of Contact, the book series,
over the past three decades.
